STARK
STARK

We are surprised and concerned by a video from a Ukrainian military unit, as it contains a number of contradictions, and is contrary to our recent communication with this unit, including their official request for additional Virtus systems following "high efficiency and combat effectiveness under real battlefield conditions.”

We are in continuous communication with the Ukrainian military units we support and value this collaboration deeply. Since our trials with the unit in question, we have brought many changes to the Virtus system to keep pace with battlefield developments.

As a defence company, we are bound by strict operational security requirements and cannot disclose sensitive details publicly.
However, we would like to highlight the following:
Unlike claimed in the video, STARK systems do not “launch from the catapult” - unlike those of competitors - nor do they use detachable camera components that could “fall off”.

The video refers to “Virtus pricing” seen “in the German media”. There are no reports on Virtus pricing in the German media at this moment. It is unclear to us how this video can refer to German media articles that currently do not yet exist.

We trust that reporting will examine such claims carefully and critically.
We remain fully committed to delivering reliable, mission-ready technology to the Ukrainian Armed Forces at speed and at scale. Europe’s security depends on unity and decisive action, and efforts to divide, discredit or distract only weaken our collective deterrence and defence.
