Minerva was developed as a command and control (C2) software for the deployment of unmanned systems across land, air and maritime domains. It assists users with automated target prioritisation and effector selection, and enables swarming missions.

It also lets operators manage combined operations from one ground control station.

INTEROPERABILITY: MINERVA AS MIDDLEWARE

Minerva is interoperable with other military IT infrastructure and C2 systems. It acts as middleware, integrating unmanned weapons systems into existing command processes. Products from other manufacturers can be integrated via standardised interfaces and open protocols.

CERTIFIABLE WEAPONS EFFECTS

Minerva is designed to meet the requirements of a command and weapon engagement system (CWES). It uses flexible authorisation rules to manage engagements and keeps full logs of all decisions for review and certification. Software accreditation is carried out in close coordination with the responsible national authorities.

SWARMING AND EFFICIENT MISSION PLANNING

Rather than managing assets individually, Minerva allows operators to define intent and translates this intent into executable group behaviour. This way the operator can coordinate complex attack patterns and swarms, which vastly increases the efficiency of complex multi-domain operations.

HUMAN-IN-THE-LOOP

Minerva is designed to keep humans in-the-loop throughout, decreasing the risk to operators while improving their accuracy and operational effectiveness. It is the operator that determines whether or not to engage a target
